I truly believe that being healthy is a way of life. It is about how well we take care of ourselves, not just physically but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. In this section are a list of everything to do with being healthy from the inside out - restaurants, markets, workshops that I visit and attend, list of superfood and supplements that help support the body and informative articles and research on health issues, foods and such. Knowledge is the key to a better understanding of how our bodies can function at the optimum with the nutrients that we can provide it.
It's not just about eating the right foods, but also understanding nutrition and wellbeing and the role they play in our lives. Educating ourselves and creating a community where restaurants provide support for both a better, cleaner way of eating and also fresh healthy options is the key to healing the body from the inside out. I cook a lot and love being creative in the kitchen, but sometimes it's nice to indulge and get inspiration and ideas from different sources. Workshops also encourage creativity in the kitchen and also brings people of a like mind together. Eventually I'd like to fulfill my goal of becoming a certified raw food chef and delve more into the nutritional benefits of a sustainable healthier way of eating.
