"To see the world in a grain of sand, and to see heaven in a wild flower,
hold infinity in the palm of your hands, and eternity in an hour"

I love to travel. The world is such an amazing place, the different cultures, natural wonders, the people, the history... Sometimes it helps put things into perspective, to see what really matters. Very often we get caught up in our daily lives and all the little things that we forget about the simplicity and beauty of life. We get caught up in our work and responsibilities that we stop seeing and appreciating what we have and all that surrounds us. Traveling I find is a great way to reconnect with all of that as well as beautify the soul. From road trips to small getaways, from long trips across the globe to treks across the continent, suddenly we get a different perspective on things.
Without all the extra things to think about my senses are more attuned to being present and seeing what's right in front of me. The colours of the sunrises and sunsets, explosions of colours all over the place, the smells of the earth and the ocean... the crinkle in someone's nose when they smile, the way the light glides over all things making everything that little more brighter. I see kind gestures from strangers, the love people have for one another, all things become energies magnified. It's an amazing world we live in - we just have to stop once in a while and open our eyes...
